Account Managers are generally responsible for managing a company’s relationships and sales with it’s existing customer base, while Account Executives are usually responsible for securing new clients or managing large clients. Typically a client will remain with one Account Manager or Account Executive throughout their relationship with a company. Companies such as UnitedHealth Group, Optum, Anthem, and Conduent will hire work from home Account Managers and Executives. An Account Manager’s responsibilities will vary from company to company.
